THERE WILL ALSO BE A MILLENNIAL TEMPLE BUILT WHICH WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAND OF ISRAEL
- Ezek 43:6-7 – Jesus will make his home in the rebuilt temple during the millennium and forever.
- Ezek chapters 40-48 - The Holy City, the New Jerusalem, the dwelling place of God described in Rev 21 and 22 is also described in Ezek 40-48. Ezek 47:1-12 sounds much like Rev 22:1-5. The voice of the Spirit is described as being like rushing waters in Ezek 43:2, which fits with the description of the Spirit being the water, the river in the New Jerusalem in Rev 22:1-5. This is in the middle of the land of Israel, Ezek 48:8-9. The name of the city will be “The LORD is there,” Ezek 48:35.
- Micah 4:1 – God’s temple, his church, his people, will be established as the leaders of the nations of the world in that day.
- Zech 1:16 – Jesus will return to Jerusalem with mercy and the temple will be rebuilt.
- Zech 6:9-15 – The Branch will rebuild the temple of the Lord and he will be a priest on its throne. He will be both king and priest. People will come from far away to help build the temple.
BOUNDARIES OF THE PROMISED LAND IN THE MILLENNIUM
- Isa 26:15 - You have enlarged the nation, O Lord, you have gained glory for yourself; you have extended the borders of the land.
- Micah 7:11, Ps 72:8 – The day for extending Israel’s boundaries will come.
- Isa 61:7 - They will inherit a double portion of the land.
- Isa 60:18-22 - There will no longer be violence in the land, the days of sorrow will end, the Lord will be your everlasting light, the sun will never set, they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted. “I am the Lord; in its time, I will do this swiftly.”
- Isa 19:16-18 - Egypt will be under control of Israel in that day.
- Ezek 20:42 - God will bring Israel into the land of Israel, the land that he swore with uplifted hand that he would give to their fathers.
- Ezek 28:25-26 - They will live in their own land, the land which I gave to my servant Jacob. They will live there is safety and will build houses and plant vineyards; they will live in safety when I punish all their neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.
- Zeph 2:8-9 – Moab (central Jordan) and Ammon (northern Jordan) will be destroyed in that day. The remnant of Judah will inherit the land.
- Obadiah 1:19-21, Isa 11:14 – God’s people will occupy the mountains of Esau (Edom), the land of the Philistines, the fields of Ephraim and Samaria, Gilead (part of Jordan, to the east of the Sea of Galilee, once occupied by the tribes of Gad, Reuben and Manasseh), the land as far as the Zarephath (the area near Sidon on the Mediterranean coast), and the towns of the Negev (the desert region north of the Gulf of Aqaba, which connects to the Red Sea). All of this kingdom will be the Lord’s.
- Zeph 2:4-7 – Gaza, Ashkelon (former Philistine seaport in southern Israel), Ashdod (Israel’s main cargo port), Ekron (former Philistine city), Kerethites (peoples who lived on the Philistine coast) and Canaan land of the Philistines will all be ruined and destroyed in that day. Their land will belong to the remnant of the house of Judah.
- Ezek 47:13-23 – This passage gives the exact boundary of the land. Apparently it was to be divided into strips of land for each of the tribes running from east to west with descendents of Dan starting in the north and those of Gad being the farthest south, with two portions being given to Joseph’s descendents. They were also instructed to include the aliens who settled among them as though they were native born Israelites, Ezek 47:22. This boundary does not go as far east as the original boundary of the land that God promised the Israelites. This stops at the Jordan River while the original went to the Euphrates River, Gen 15:18. This may have been God’s intent for the Jews in the inter-testament period, but it was never followed. The use of the other land that God gives to his people in the millennium is not specified.

- Ps 105:8-11 – This Psalm confirms that the land covenant that God made to Abraham was an everlasting covenant. This covenant gave the land of Canaan to them forever, Gen 13:15.
- Ps 37:11-15, 28-29, 34 – The meek will inherit the land and live in it forever; they will enjoy great peace. The wicked will get exactly what they deserve. They will be punished according to their deeds against God’s people.
- Ezek 45:1-6; 48:8-22 - describes the sacred portion and the princes (David’s) portion.

The words are “O Lord save us; O Lord grant us success. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” Priests recite this passage daily during the Feast of Tabernacles. This connection may be why this feast is so important during the millennium. This may imply that the Second Coming will occur during this feast. Jews finally cry out to Jesus with sincerity and conviction during the feast and he returns to save them.

POST MILLENNIAL PROPHECIES
- Isa 65:16-17 -God will create a new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, not will they come to mind. (In context, this seems to refer to God not remembering the sins and idol worship of his people. In verse 16 God says that the past troubles caused by the sins of his people will be forgotten and hidden from HIS eyes.)
- Dan 12:3– Describes the resurrections, including the first and second resurrections, and Great White Throne Judgment.
REASONS FOR THE END TIME WRATH OF GOD
- Jer 2:35, 16:10-11 – God punished the Jews because they said, “I have not sinned;” they refused to admit that they were worshiping idols and rejecting God (Jesus). [Applied to Babylonian conquest and end times]
- Jer 3:8, 14-25, 5:7-8 – God considered Israel his bride; he divorced her because of adulteries with idols. [Applied to Babylonian conquest and end times]
- Jer 8:5-9, 9:13-14, 14:11-16 - The Jews were led astray by their leaders, who did not properly interpret God’s requirements. They did not seek forgiveness because they did not take God’s requirements seriously. They wanted to think that both their God and the gods of others could get them to heaven. They thus accepted the gods of others as being valid. This is being repeated today, as the “many path to heaven movement.” [Applied to Babylonian conquest and end times]
- Jer 10:5, 11-12, 16 – The false gods are like scarecrows in a melon patch, they will all disappear from the earth. Only the God who created the universe will endure forever.
- Jer 11:11-14, 14:11-12 - God told the Jews that because they rejected him by accepting other gods, he would not hear their prayers when they called out to him. Instead, God said that he would destroy them by the sword, famine and plague. This applies even today; God apparently does not hear their prayers because they refused to accept Jesus as their Messiah. Jesus is God and when they do not accept Jesus they do not accept God.
- Jer 25 - Jeremiah had been a prophet receiving visions from God concerning his future punishment of Israel for her sins from 627-604 BC when he was writing chapter 25. In verse 6 he specifically warns them of worshipping other gods. He told them that they had been warned for many years by many prophets that God would take them from their land if they did not turn from idol worship.
- Jer 25:11:12 – God says through Jeremiah that Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, would conquer them and take them into captivity for 70 years. He further says that at the end of the 70 years he would punish the Babylonians for what they had done.
- Hosea 7:13 – God longs to redeem Israel but they speak lies against him (they deny Jesus is God).
- Hosea 8:1-2, 7 – Israel cries out to God and thinks that they are acknowledging God but they are not because they have rejected what is good (Jesus). They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind.

- Jer 7:1-11 - God said that he would punish the Jews because they were hypocrites; they said they belonged to God but they did not show it by their actions. [Applied to Babylonian conquest and end times]
- Jer 17:23, 19:15 – God punished the Jews because they were stiff-necked and would not listen or respond to discipline. [Applied to Babylonian conquest and end times]
- Ezek 43:8-9 – God destroyed the Jews because they defiled his name by their detestable practices.
- Hosea 4:6 – Israel was destroyed from lack of knowledge; they rejected knowledge, the truth that was before their very eyes.
- Jer 51:56-57 – The Lord God is a God of retribution; he will repay in full.
- Ezek 38:16, 23, 39:7-8, 21-24, 27-29 – God will use Magog and an alliance of nations to attach Israel when they are living in safety and unbelief to show the Israelites that he is Holy and to bring them back to belief in him and his Son, Jesus Christ. This supernatural defeat of Magog will display the glory of God among the nations and result in a huge number of converts to Jesus.
- Jer 29:1-10 - Daniel had the prophecies made by Jeremiah as indicated in Dan 9:1-2. Jeremiah was in Egypt but Jer 29:1-10 tells us how Daniel got Jeremiah’s prophecies; Jeremiah sent them to the exiles in Babylon.
GOD ABANDONED AND BLINDED THE JEWS TO THE TRUTH BECAUSE OF THEIR REPEATED UNFAITHFULNESS

- Micah 5:3 – God will abandon Israel until she who is now in labor gives birth and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites. (Jesus’ bride, the church, is in the womb being formed. She will be born at the rapture. She will return to earth with Jesus at the Second Coming and join the Israelites in ruling the earth during the millennium.)
BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO READS AND HEEDS THE PROPHECIES OF GOD
