God’s Plan For Mankind

The Seven Orders of Heaven and Earth

  • The 32 charts and accompanying commentary presented in this study represent my interpretation of God’s plan for mankind from eternity past to eternity future as presented in the Christian Bible.
  • The first chart presents a layout of the way in which the 32 charts should be viewed. It is suggested that you get familiar with this chart after reading this introductory page and the commentary that accompanies the first chart. You might want to go back to this chart quite often to get your bearings as you study the 32 charts. The 32 charts should be viewed as a table of 4 rows and 8 columns. The columns present the key features of the various orders of heaven and earth from eternity past to eternity future. The rows present the following:
  • Row 1: The order number and a defining feature of each of the seven orders.
  • Row 2: Key features of heaven in each of the seven orders.
  • Row 3: Key features of earth in each of the seven orders.
  • Row 4: Key features of God’s spiritual prisons or holding places (Hades, the Abyss, etc.) in each of the seven orders.
  • The charts go from the time that God hatched his plan to create the physical universe and mankind up until the time that God destroys the physical universe as we know it and creates a new unified order. You may note that there are seven orders of heaven and earth and seven transitional events that separate the seven orders (one event occurs in two phases).
  • My understanding of scripture is that the basic reason for the creation of the physical universe was to provide a proper environment for God’s greatest creation: mankind. The reason for creating mankind was that it was to be a gift from God the Father to Jesus the Son. The gift involved a long-term project for the Son. The gift was something that the Son himself would have to create and ultimately pay a heavy price for. The Father was to be the architect and designer while the Son was to be the craftsman who would do the actual creating.
  • The Christian Bible is the unique document provided by God himself that records the history of the implementation of the plan up to the end of the first century AD, as well as details of the remainder of the plan through the destruction of the physical universe (and creation of a new order) provided through prophecy.
  • Again, this series of 32 charts presents my interpretation of God the Father’s plan for how the gift was to be ultimately presented to Jesus the Son. The plan called for there to be a total of seven orders of heaven and earth. There were to be seven major transitional events that would define the boundaries of each of the seven orders. These seven major events and more detailed dialogue on God’s plan can be found in the commentary accompanying charts 1 and 2 under the first order. Two events, the rapture and 2nd Coming are part of one transition.
  • There are three major dynamics that flow throughout this series of charts: (1) the choice of the bride of Christ, (2) the role of Israel involving revelation, rejection, blinding, and restoration, and (3) the changing environment for man from order to order.
  • An explanation of the symbols used on the charts can be found on chart 4 under the first order.

A complimentary study titled "The past, present and future of the church as presented by Jesus" is included at the end of this section. This study is included here because it ties in so closely to the theme of God's plan for man as revealed in the Bible.
